This round of races took place on the one day at Oulton Park, a long day for the team.
Practice and Qualifying – Saturday 16th July 2022
A decent practice session as the team fitted some new parts to the car and Chris was getting to grips with the track, the weather was scorching and this meant temperatures on track were testing both car and driver.
A solid qualifying session with a decent lap time of 1.27.538 putting us in 6th place for the first race of the day.

Starting from 6th (5th with Hart being demoted) on the grid Chris made an excellent start and was up to 4th by the time they reached the hairpin for the first time.
It was a steady race in searing heat with many drivers not making the distance. Chris brought the car home in 4th position and picked up some valuable championship points.

After the reverse grid Chris started in 7th position for the second race of the day.
Track limits meant penalties for a few drivers but Chris used his experience to keep the car on the track and had a solid finish.
It was a close race with Isaac Smith having a good race and trying to push through the pack. Chris and Isaac left Oulton Park in 1st and 2nd in the championship as Chris ended up 4th and Isasc just in front in 3rd.
Summary
A few drivers lost points with a variety of penalties including Max Hart who started from the back of the grid with a 10 second penalty, as ever we had some eventful racing all day.
A 6th place in qualifying and two strong points finishes mean the championship closes up even tighter as we prepare for the next round at Castle Combe.
