Your UK Parliament Awards 2022

We’re pleased to announce that the End Our Cladding Scandal campaign has been Highly Commended in the Your UK Parliament Awards.

Our campaign was shortlisted in the Digital Campaign of the Year category, which celebrates campaigns that connect people to democracy through digital engagement.

Since the relaunch of our campaign in September 2020, leaseholders from across the UK have come together to create a strong community through social media, joining thousands of affected individuals into one powerful voice using the #EndOurCladdingScandal hashtag.

Our Twitter account has become the ‘go to’ destination for news about the cladding and building safety crisis, with over 32 million impressions to date and 10,000 followers. A big thank you to our social media volunteers who have posted news, comment and creative content throughout the day, every single day.

Other campaign tactics have included digital advertising vans roving around Westminster to coincide with fire safety debates in Parliament; and projecting an awareness-raising film onto the Houses of Parliament, in collaboration with our friends at Grenfell United and Projections on Walls.

Together we can raise awareness and secure change. Together we can #EndOurCladdingScandal.

The End Our Cladding Scandal campaign calls on the Government to lead an urgent, national effort to fix the building safety crisis.
