Homes England has issued new guidance notes for property valuers who have been requested by a Help to Buy equity mortgage borrower to value their property with external cladding (published 4 August 2021).
Under the terms of the equity mortgage valuers must have their appointment agreed by Homes England before they can proceed with this type of valuation.
