Puerto Rico Governor announces creation of advisory group to speed up sports betting launch

The director of the Puerto Rico Gambling Commission, Orlando Rivera, along with five other members, will be part of the advisory group that will publish reports every three months. Local officials estimate that legalised esports betting could bring in up to $87m in tax revenue within the first five years of operation

Orlando Rivera, director of the Gambling Commission of Puerto Rico, will be part of the advisory group along with other five members, who will be in charge of issuing reports every three months and sending them to Pierlusi, to the Secretary of the Department of Economic Development (DDEC) and the Commission.
