BMX
BMX an olympic sport, and where will the next olympics be held London England just down the road in fact . So go on ask me what Sudbury Town Council are doing to show support for this new olympic sport , Well in league with our devious district council it has been suggested that the bmx  park be moved to the outer reaches of Great Cornard . Now before you ask how the youngsters of this market town ( another blog there) will make their way to this new site , let me tell you that the wise leaders of this town have said that many of our bmx bikers will make the journey by car . Incredible as this may seem this was stated in a recent council meeting.   So OK how much are the town council planning to spend on this  Great Cornard BMX  track in light of the olympics occurring in four years ,no idea ? Here are a few clues   the plot of land behind the town hall was purchased what will be a total sum of circa £750,000 that works out at £75000 per car parking space , the oddly named improvement of Old Market Place cost £80.000 of which STC were major partners and of course how could I forget the" pets cemetery" in Gaol Lane £40,000 of our money, so how much for the young BMX olympic hopefuls ....... approximately £4000 of course it may be less.. Nice touch the Olympic flag on the town hall .......... Lets hope the new unitary authority bestows more power to our dear councillors............NOT .

Belle Vue house
So if a semi detached house in Melford Rd can be accepted onto the Sudbury list (against the owners wishes ) how come Belle Vue house is not on the list ? Why indeed is this house not listed ?    Perhaps it is because it does not suit  the Ogre that is BDC. Perhaps plans are afoot by people who do not live, work or even visit  our town, people who do not know  or even care to ask the opinions of our residents, perhaps one day they will consult with the townsfolk and then perhaps ignore their wishes because the deal with developers will be complete.   I would suggest we beware a planning authority with plans.
Remember the consultations about the fire station ?
Remember the numerous consultations about the hospital ?
Remember the consultations about the bypass?

And where did they get us?

Trust them not
