looking at transport to nottingham at the posibilty off getting trams to kirkby there seems that big problem of the single track through the quaries the part that they dug out the old twin track that they infilled REFILLED then put up a enbankment then a single track which keads to delays.IF only they had used the OLD track bed trains and trames could pass by,giving the whole line twin use,

robin hood line in kirkby is single track and makes holdups why single track,aswhen theydug out the old line which was twin track they refilled the old cutting then put a enbackment over it > ? did they put the new bridge on linlys lane UP side down,
