so the carnoustie shop keepers are complaining about lossing sales during the road works, did they never consider the possibility that when leasing / buying a shop on a busy high street that the road would have to be repaired / upgraded at some point. they should get a grip, who would pay the compensation, us the tax payer, if their customers were as loyal as the think they would have still went into their shops.
