The problem with convergent devices is...
Well, what do you do? Just like the Kia ad, do you get a small mobile phone that does er.. well, phone calls really, or do you go for what is known as a convergent device, and listen to music, watch movies, read emails, take pictures, edit documents and spreadsheets, AND do phone calls as well?
I went the second route, and I still don't know whether it was the right thing to do. Don't get me wrong, it beats carting round two bits of kit, but enough compromises are there to make you wonder... Not least, it weighs a ton and makes you look like a prat. More experiences soon..
