My Grandad Joseph.

I'm looking for information on my granddad Joseph. My dad George Paton Brown was born in Falkirk and I believe my granddad was too.

I found out recently that my dad was brought up by his aunty but he wouldnt tell me why.

He never mentioned his dad when i was little and ive never ever seen a picture of him.

I think my granddads surname is also Brown and he had 2 sons George & Jim Brown.

Im presuming he would have been born in the 30's or 40's.

My dad and his brother both live in halifax where I was born. I have no idea when he came to halifax or why. Ive never even talked to my dads brother.

Something has happened and im dying to find out.

Can anyone please help me.

I remember my dad introducing me to his mum Janet years ago but im presuming Janet was actually his aunty that brought him up.

You see my problem I know nothing about my own dad.
