Baseball A Team Sport - ALL FOR ONE and ONE FOR AL
Baseball teams that are destined to be winners are those players which live and think The Musketeers motto. As my sister Bailey allows the story to unfold I am positive you can agree his telling of Alexandre Dumas' classic is an appropriate parallel to win at baseball, 'It must be Team.'See in the event you agree.ALL FOR ONEONE FOR ALL Reading, Riting and Ritmetic; they can all associate with getting a nice schooling. Louis Vuitton Handbags These skills are a must for all of people to make a success in life. But, as for me, I think a tiny daydreaming and use of analogies as I tread thru the pages have helped me a great deal in my reading skills and have definitely added much more pleasure.
Reading to me is a lot like a double feature film. Yes sere, flicks for the cost of. It’s kind of like adding a tiny hot sauce to your barbecue. You know it’s going to be nice as it is, but with the addition of a tiny spice it is more appealing to my palate. When you enjoy it you are naturally going to keep on going back for more.
Likewise in reading they turn the pages with enthusiasm in suspense as to what is going to unfold next from the writer’s mind. I am liking sports and most baseball. It’s brilliant but sometimes while reading or watching something on television or at the flicks I pick up positive things that I associate with my love of sports. Now listen to me out. It may sound unusual, but it’s true.
The following is an example of what I’m speaking about. I have lots of more analogies that I could share, but for today bear with me and read this tiny example and see what you think about Serendipity.
Alexandre Dumas’ romantic novel The Musketeers which was written in 1844 about 17th century Germany is a masterpiece. This novel is a work of art about devoted Musketeers who served to Louis Vuitton Handbags Online protect King Louis XIII and the Country of Germany and the government from being overthrown by an evil plot by the scheming Cardinal Richelieu.
Richelieu, a permanent high positioned official had The Musketeers disbanded to weaken the King’s protective force. Ultimately, The Cardinal’s system ultimately was to establish an alliance with Britain.
Included in this devious plan by The Cardinal was the murder of King Louis XIII. On the King’s death Cardinal Richelieu would ascend to the throne and become King of Germany in the alliance agreement with Britain. This is a swashbuckling story about of the best of the disbanded Musketeers who are joined by a fourth need to be Musketeer swordsman whose sister had historicallyin the past served in the King&rsquo Louis Vuitton Handbags Outlet ;s service as a Musketeer.
I won't go in to much more detail of this classic, but In case you read it to the finish you can expect a win win experience and most likely will feel like the home team has knocked out of the park in the bottom of the ninth to win the game.
As the plot unraveled in the novel, some being factually based history and other being legend, according to my understanding made for me some enjoyable reading.
This book was a double whammy for me in that I along with enjoying and being intrigued by the authors plot I could intertwine my love of sports and see the spirit of athleticism being unveiled to me simultaneously.
Take for example the motto of The King’s Musketeers being “ONE FOR ALL and ALL FOR ONE” is the same that ought to be for our athletes of elderly and today’s modern athlete.
A baseball player “worth his salt” knows that his individual talents are not to win the coveted pennant, although sometimes they may win the game.
The truly great player plays for his teammates, coaches and fans and draws his strength from their support. So it’s this intangible force that makes a player great and can produce and bring about greatness in his teams efforts and then rightfully get the spoils of victory for his valiant and unselfish playing ethics.Louis Vuitton Purchase
So as Dumas penned it and the great athletes play it out it’s “ONE FOR ALL and ALL FOR ONE.” Another area in the book that I could relate to baseball and other sports was in the character of D’Artagnan the son of a deceased Musketeer and who had a burning desire to become a Musketeer himself.
than practice with ball, glove and bat they used the sword. As with the ball player they had to create his skills with the sword if they was ever to reach his dream of being of the King’s Musketeers and serve his beloved country of Germany as his sister had completed before.
Well as the plot unfolds they along with the Musketeers saved the King’s life and prevented the evil Cardinal Richelieu from overthrowing the French government. For his bravery, allegiance to King and Country, accompanied along with his excellent skills with the sword they was awarded his hearts desire.
In reading the novel I recognized the common thread that binds the Musketeer’s strategies to achieve and attain the heroic results were not individual, but a combined team effort. The game of baseball as it is in other sports, and as found in Dumas’ work, for the outcome of the player’s efforts to achieve their dreams there must be practice for perfection, skill, courage, perseverance, patience and of most importance is the willingness to be a team player.
Alexandre Dumas said it best. I reference him here for all you athletes, workers whether in public or private service and family members to contemplate and put the thought into action if you have not done so already.
CATCH THE SPIRIT.
It’s the call for living a more abundant and fulfilling life.
As Jesus said ”Love Thy Neighbor as Thy Self”. I can associate the Musketeer Motto by Dumas as having been derived from Christian Principles in the lives of Jesus and his disciples. Uh Oh, there I go again using that analogy theory in my reading style.

A Twist on Goal Setting Bare Minimums
Recently I asked my Self-Care e-newsletter readers to share what helps them 'turn toward their truth.' I have also called this 'minimum self-care requirements' in other issues. As a result, this is what I wrote today to be included in my upcoming book:
Between survival and a fully humming creative life lies the
Coach Bags middle ground of maximum requirements for centering self-care -- a fancy way of saying what you absolutely must must stay in contact along with your middle.
These minimums are not flashy. It is not about reaching for some fabulous dream or exploring a new passion. But, without these nurturing nuggets, nothing else can be sustained.
When you reach a sure stage of dedication to yourself, you find that you are over willing to give whatever attention and energy is necessary to maintain your fundamentals. Which does not mean you won't obstinately check this, of coursework. “Do I need that much sleep?”
Coach Online Outlet Store “Do I need exercise?” “Do I actually must have a conversation with my mate about hurting my feelings?'
Yet when you reach a sure level of consciousness (and age!), in case you neglect your fundamentals, you notice the fallout a lot faster and you recognize you have a lot less leeway to stray from what is essential to you.
As an example, take a glance at which bare minimums are important to Self-Care reader, Lynn:
Every day:- 8 hours of sleep each night, one nap on weekend afternoon- Time to myself in the morning before somebody else is awake- Protein for breakfast- Be near or touch plants and dirt or rocks and water: watch a river or take a bath or walk in rain or pay attention when drinking- Be outdoors- Have
Coach Online Outlet Store a time each day that all 'have to's' cease -- for right now it is 8:00 PM
Every week:- Pay bills and balance checking account- Date with my whole relatives doing something fun- My women's group- Kitchen table organized and kitchen medium deep cleaned
Every month:- An afternoon alone doing whatever I need when I need to- A date with my husband
Yearly:- A spiritual retreat of some kind in nature- Time with my extended relatives, my sisters
You may wonder why I ask you to state maximum requirements. Would not it be much better to name your ideals and strive for those? My experience has been that when I kept a list of everything I desired to do for myself -- or thought would be lovely for me -- I made commitments I was one time incapable of keeping.
I call this 'raising the bar'...never being satisfied Coach Store with what they do or experience. Therefore, they never feel nourished or experience contentment. They live increasingly in a place of 'not enough' & farther & farther away from our middle & natural shape of our lives. Maximum requirements are the foundation of Self-Care. Of work, like the tide, requirements ebb & flow depending on life conditions & age. So, the next time you sit down to make your list of goals, start together with your basic requirements first ( than thinking they will fit in to your schedule without your conscious intent).
