Houston Texans jerseys adviser Gary Kubiak is optimistic that Arian Foster will be ready for the Sept. 11 season opener after the star escaping back re-aggravated a hamstring injury during Saturday night’s 30-7 preseason victory in San Francisco.
Foster, the NFL’s guiding rusher last season, left the field during the first 15 min of the game against the 49ers, favoring the left hamstring that he strained early in exercising camp.
Foster sat out the Texans’ preseason opener, cheap soccer jerseys, then rushed five times for 47 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 27-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints jerseys on Aug. 20. He was ache on his eighth carry against the 49ers.
"Looks like we’re dealing with the same thing we were dealing with at the start of camp," Kubiak said Sunday. "Hopefully, we can get him back on the rehab train and get him ready for opening day. He’ll be day to day."
Foster told the Houston Chronicle behind the game that the hamstring " didn’t pop alternatively everything favor that" and accustomed that it was a re-aggravation of the before hamstring injury.
Kubiak said Sunday that Texans head athletic trainer Geoff Kaplan offered a "very assured" outlook for Foster’s retrieval. But Kubiak stopped short of saying Foster definitely would be healed in time for the key against the AFC South rival Indianapolis Colts jerseys.
"Until he hops back out there, there’s a concern," Kubiak said. "But it sounds like we’re topic in the right intention."
Foster echoed that sentiment, tweeting Sunday that he sees himself playing in Week 1.
"4 those sincerely concerned, I’m act ok & maneuver 2 B back by opening day," Foster wrote. "4 those worried abt your fancy team, u ppl are sick."
Kubiak said Derrick Ward, a former 1,000-yard rusher, has the brim over sometime second-round draft pick Ben Tate for the backup role backward Foster, even though Tate has put up more impressive numbers during the preseason. But Kubiak said he still hasn’t made a terminal determination.
"We’re still lining up for Derrick as our No. 2 and Tate as our 3 right immediately, wholesale jerseys, but there’s going apt be a lot of football played this week," Kubiak said. "I think they both bring someone alter to our football group, so I could see us playing 3 guys aboard game day. Those things ambition pan themselves out."

Kubiak also said All-Pro linebacker DeMeco Ryans will return to practice Monday. Ryans didn’t voyage with the team to San Francisco for of an elbow injury.
Even without Ryans, Houston’s first-team ward played well another Saturday night, holding San Francisco to three first downs and 50 aggregate yards in the first half. Through three preseason games, wholesale nfl jerseys, the Texans’ revamped ward has produced 14 sacks and 7 turnovers and limited opponents to 32 percent efficiency on third downs (12 of 38).
Kubiak honors fashionable defensive coordinator Wade Phillips with the progress, but he too sees more individual playmakers than he did last season.
Backup safety Troy Nolan returned one interception 73 yards for a touchdown in San Francisco, and outdoor linebacker Connor Barwin, starting defensive end Antonio Smith and export Tim Jamison all had sacks.
"It’s no like it’s 1 fellow having a excellent preseason," Kubiak said. "It’s collectively, as a group, all production activities, fair bouncing nigh."
The Texans play at Minnesota on Thursday before trimming their roster to 53 players. Kubiak will take a near look at his secondary, where he still has 18 players.
Cornerback Johnathan Joseph and safeties Danieal Manning and Glover Quin are locks for the starting lineup on beginning day. Veteran Jason Allen has been moving second-year pro Kareem Jackson on the additional side, and Brice McCain and second-round elect Brandon Harris will be in the mingle in keep roles.
Beyond that, no spots are vouched. Kubiak expects fourth-round pick Roc Carmichael to return this week after lacking time with a elbow injury, crowding the depth draft even more.
"That’s the place in camp we’ve held up very good health-wise," Kubiak said. "From a numbers standpoint, we’re very cumbersome at that rank and have been throughout camp. If they’re all standing on Friday morn, a lot of agreeable football athletes, so we’ve got to weed via that. You can only keep so numerous."
The Texans have amplified the opposite problem by the repugnant line, the unit hardest hit at injuries during camp. Guards Antoine Caldwell and Kasey Studdard are out with ankle injuries, and tackle Rashad Butler missed the 49ers game with a hamstring harm.
Other than Caldwell, though, the starting offensive front has remained intact and performed solidly in the preseason.
"Our first group’s been very persistent," Kubiak said. "We’ve been fortunate with those 5 guys. They’ve played a lot of football attach, and if they tin reside out there together, I think they can be a heck of a team."
