Is it only me who is becoming increasingly irritated by the same four or five individuals who write letters to the Portsmouth news? I understand the need to complain about a subject close to one's heart, but these folk appear to have and want to share their opinions on any and every subject. Iv'e got to the stage now where I check the name at the bottom to avoid reading the letter, particularly one certain very aptly named gentleman who is unable to state the subject matter of his letter until the last sentence. Mrs Woodcock,my old English teacher would turn in grave.
