Behind closed doors
In our day to day lives we respect those in authority, doctors ,police and God forbid politicians. Recently in this area a well respected GP was charged and admitted to procuring obscene pictures of children and in participating in the making of such images. This came as a great shock to this community as he was a well respected figure of Heanor. let this be a warning, you never know what people get up behind closed doors.
At first impression was that he should be locked up indefinitely, but with forethought he needs treatment as he must be mentally ill. In todays society there is vey little provision to deal with people with illnesses like this and prison is not the answer. What do we do with convicted peadephiles, how should they be treated in society? Once outed they become social outcasts and despide by all.
