CRAWLEY 60th ANIVERSARY
Hello all
I see by the local papers that Crawley is celebrating its 60th aniversary of being recognised as a town. I wonder how many of those 60 years did they have a Christmas Tree in the Queen's Square. At a guess I think that 50 years of that time we did have a tree in the town centre. I know I keep harping on about the same issue but I feel very strong about it.
I am seeking advise on how WE the crawley town people can get together and make next year a brighter christmas with a Christmas tree in the Town Square. If anbody has any ideas or advise I would be very grateful.

Christmas in Crawley?
Hello Bloggers
This is my first blog. I have just sent a letter to 'The Crawley Observer' commenting on the disgraceful show of, what they call "CHRISTMAS LIGHTS". If anything I think the poor show, and lack of imagination, will put people off from shopping in Crawley centre. If the traders want to encourage punters to visit their premises they have to put their hands in their pockets, and invest in improving what, I think, are very dismal.
The first thing they could do is erect a Christmas Tree. There, that's not too hard!!
Linda
