F1 Hoverpod Racing Latest News and Update

A Very Important Year at F1HP

F1 Hoverpod® Racing Ltd.

This is simple look back at the year of F1 Hoverpod® Ltd and a reminder of the progress and developments that have been made and confirmed to be used in the new Manx GT Craft.

The New propeller/fan blade which has caused so much interest is presently under development and will be shown in the New Year. The key development and areas of challenge to F1 Hoverpod® Manufacture Ltd were a reduction in noise, an increase in air flow and a stronger more durable blade that was fit for purpose and placed safety at the forefront and without compromise.

The second development that was confirmed was the new fuel and fuel system. Both of which were developed with the help and support of a world leader in the area of fuel technology. This called for a new type of fuel tank which was a major issue when considering the challenges of racing. The solution was as always “no compromise” and the very best in the world was the answer. A product which meets all the standards of European legislation for vehicle fuel storage in vehicles. Once again, this will be displayed for the public in the new year on the “Manx GT”.

Finally, the “All New Manx GT” hull technology that has caused such a stir. This has been developed with the help of the Institute of Materials & Mining who as we all know are the world leader in the field of composite technology. The breakthrough in the durability and reduction in wear has astonished the very best.

Finally, I wish to send out a message of thanks to all our true supporters, sponsors and partners who have seen us through a difficult year. A very special thanks to those who have sent such good comments through the blogs and web sites of support which has been very encouraging.

This leaves me with one final task. To Wish You All A Very Happy New Year for 2010 from all the team at F1 Hoverpod® Ltd.

September 2010 @ F1HP

September 2010

September spells the beginning of the end to the UK summer time but also is the start of new term for many of our technical supply partners who have been on a reduction of staff and team members and in some instance complete shut down for the summer break. This has quite a dramatic effect for the way F1 Hoverpod® Racing applies its daily routine. This does not signal a slow down period for the F1 Hoverpod® technical team, in fact the opposite is the case. It allows a period of catch up and a window of opportunity to assess the data provided by our partners and allowing a period of uninterrupted time to test and assimilate the vital information supplied.

 News site

September will be seen as changes to the “News Web Sites” with some significant updates to the feature site at www.hoverpod-news.com although we will be keeping the Hoverpod® racing game running for the kids (and in some cases parents). The additional news site at which can be found at www.hovercraft-news.com will be providing some technical updates relating to some of the findings and developments that the research team from F1 Hoverpod® Racing have discovered over the period of creation.

Amateur & Enthusiast

The last few days of August saw the amateur and enthusiast doing their thing in Buckinghamshire England. We always show great respect and admiration to these guys who spend endless hours through the summer and almost all of the hours they have spare in the winter repairing, tuning and maintaining their craft that they personally show so much dedication and pride in their work, only to have such a short window of opportunity to enjoy in the often all too short summer. Here is a short video showing these 100% committed and dedicated racers. “View Here”.  Good Luck you Guys and we wish you all a successful weekend and a safe racing session.

Autumn with F1 Hoverpod® Racing

Whilst the summer nights of warm breeze and dry days is fast leaving us behind, this does spell the time for testing for F1 Hoverpod® Racing as the beaches and coastline are largely empty and very quiet. Some of the testing is completed on a North Lincolnshire airfield which was abandoned after the end of the second world war but was home to some of the flying fortress aircraft from the USA. The concrete runway is ideal for land based testing and as the sea and in particular Donna Nook which once again has an association and history with world war 2 as it was (and still is) a RAF testing and bombing site.

The Worlds Number One

There has been some slow but significant progress over the last few days here at F1 Hoverpod Racing but first I wish to send our best wishes to a collegue who is presently having a bed bath by a 22 year old nurse up to 7 times a day (if I know him) which I am assured will not help the chest pains he is suffering with although has given him a reason to keep going. Get well soon Colin and I hope the nurse who I understand could ba called "Kelly" is a volunteer make good use of the rest.

There has been a "Reaction" to the news relating to the "sticky reinforcement patches" used on some lesser manufacturers products. I suppose it was inevitable at some point to create a stir to those who use such methods, the good news for the public and retailer is that there are less than two manufacturers applying such methods and their reputation speaks volumes. I stand by the truth on this issue and my opinion is a personal one but a reinforcing patch is simply an admission of failed structure which in reality cannot be addressed with bit's of ugly stick on patches. The experts all agree that it is a design fault and can oly ever be addressed with a quality designed shape of hull with the use of the very latest in composit materials.

The suggestion of copying a product would be the latest gossip to hit the streets of late. I would say simply this, "To examin and find out what failures caused the sinking of the Titanic has a good thing". "To address those issues has to be an excellent thing but to repeat those things must mean you are a fool". F1 Hoverpod Manufacture are now addressing said issues and I have to say "not with sticky patches". Watch this space for the announcement due soon.

The summer as always is slow but progressive and we thank you all for the kind support.

Keep the faith.

The Summer of 2010
The year is already past half way and oh so quickly it passed. The months seam like days and the days fly by like seconds. The summer finally arrived and promissed so much and as all too often failed to deliver, the reaction will inevitably be one of a negative attitude.

The possitive side to life is that progress is very good despite the wind down of the research teams who lucky for them are off now for their summer recess for up to 3 months in some cases (who said I was jelouse ?).

For all who are taking a summer holiday and break, please keep a safe eye out for dangers and hazards associated with your craft but do enjoy yourselves.

We will be keeping the twitter site running through the summer for all the followers to keep up to date with happenings and we will be posting some very important news regarding the rumours about a pending launch in the Americas, so watch the blogs for this exciting announcement if and when it's posted.

In the meantime, we all wish you a very safe and pleasant summer from the whole team at F1 Hoverpod Racing.

F1 Hoverpod Racing
It is often said that "Less is more" and in this case less is without doubt more.

I have received clearance from the PR department to share with you some vital information relating to hull design and techology and in many ways I would underline the statment I heard recently saying "about time".

The news relates to technology in hull design and materials used. The breakthrough in technology has come about after 18 months of research with a world leader in composite materials to whom I am unable to share with you the name for contractoral reasons. However, the name is a brand name wich is associated with aviation and marine applications and well known for their expertise. However, names are one thing and the techology is another. It's the result that counts in this instance.

I can officially announce that the team at F1 Hoverpod Ltd has develeoped a method of production and weave that is a breakthrough for all those who are seeking durability and log lasting wear from their craft. As we are all too aware, their are companies who simply stick a patch on the week areas of their craft with in itself is an admission of a major fault to which they are unable or incapable of preventing or curing in the production of the hull. The result is a week spot that is simply masked over but still remains a week spot. A good way of providing an exaple of the problem is to describe the use of a bullet proof vest wich we all agree will prevent the bullet penetrating the skin but what it will still cause is major damage to the ribs and potentially organs under the skin. This is caused by the material (kevlar) flexing under the strain of a bullet but not able to penatrate the skin, as such the whol area surrounding the impact from the collision with the bullet simply sends the energy created by the impact to other parts of the structure. In short, a long term disaster for the purchaser and a unreslovable problem that is simply maksed over but not effective.

The key is to remove the problem at design stage and use materials that have been tested beyond the boundry of normal use which is a costly but worthwhile exercise that is always shown in the final cost of the product. In short, if the product appears cheap, it almost certainly is cheap.............and for a reason. It's called research, which is a costly exercise that is a vital part of development if a compny is to be a success.

F1 Hoverpod Racing and it's world beating partners have all combined to ensure that in order to provide the very best product into the market, the very best of research and development needs to be compiled and tested to ensure that a world beating product will eventually emerge from all the effort and the public will feel not only safe in the Hoverpod but confident in the knowing that the very best product on the market was what they finaly decided to purchase for its reputation and history and not it's attractive price. Cheap always spells cheap but why ?. In our knowledge and experience their is always a trade off when it comes to price.

Watch this space for up-dates in the future.

Formula Hoverpod Racing

The summer of 2010 in the Northern Hemisphere has finally arrived and the World Cup Football Competition has got off to a surprising start with many of the predicted big teams who were expected to go a long way in the competition, already on the plane going back home and that includes the big names such as France, Italy, England & Brazil. Followed by Portugal and Argentina with a rather disappointing performance from all the African Nations of which a lot was expected from some of them which was a major let down to all the football supporters expecting a breakthrough from an African Team at last.

For the F1 Hoverpod Racing program, it’s business as usual. The interest shown in Formula Hoverpod as a series has widened to include both Australia and India with good expectations from both of these nations expected to develop as time goes on. As expected, the controversy surrounding the new propeller blade ranges from gossip to liable but all will be put to bed when we reveal the technology in the very near future.

A personal thank you to all the hovercraft fraternity who keep reporting the statements from the Hovplod abusers and we have followed them all up and whilst I cant say too much, action is under way. The only problem being that one can sue, but sue what ?. The accounts show a huge hole in the bank balance and whilst it’s expected that ebay will probably benefit from the cheapness of the product, we are not confident of any damages claim against a company which has been failing for so long and with such consistency of accounting irregularity.

We hope all the HCGB racing goes well through the summer and the good weather holds up for you guys.

Keep the support coming guys as this helps to keep the good atmosphere working well at F1HP, the Reaction is something we can all predict. It normally goes like  J but the amateur nature of the abuse is easily dealt with by professionals. Watch this space for an update shortly...............................oh and a result.

Latest News at F1HP
Many positive things to bring you all up to spec with this month. Firstly, to all our twitter followers who now post so many jokes and funnies our way, thank you. They have been quite amusing and for those who wish to join in, our “Twitter” site is at www.twitter.com/f1hoverpod The in-box has had lots of those usual comments this month in regards to the “All New Fan/Propeller Blade” which is presently being tested at a well known University, the results are extremely encouraging at this stage and all will be revealed when the Technical Team sign off......................... Be patient !!!!, it will be worth it. The huge surge of interest from the Far East is still without doubt wonderful and yes it is true that we have taken a supporting partner from the world of Brewing Beer on board. If you need to know who, go check out the web site at www.f1hoverpodracing.com and seek out the partners link. Finally, yes we did win the joke competition at the Sun Newspaper to which Gaunty gave us two tickets to the Cheltenham Festival and I for one wish to say a “Big Thank You” for the kind and wonderful day out. “It was just was needed”. February 2010
It’s been a long and very hard winter here in the North of England and despite the experts constantly telling us about global warming, it’s snowing outside and I’m freezing. However, I understand our supporters and friends in Australia are suffering a heat wave in Perth. “I have no sympathy as I’m sick with jealousy”. Here at F1HP the progress and start of the year often gets off to a slow start and we are no exception. However it’s good news on the fan blade developments and whilst I’m under constraints not to say too much, we have some news graphics being produced to which will be posted shortly on the web site and form part of the new brochure. I wish to thank you all for pointing out that www.f1hoverpodracing.eu and www.f1hoverpodracing.org had not been working, whilst I’m not 100% sure, I am informed there were some problems with the server and all will be fully functioning by the end of this week............ ”I hope” !!!. I did make a promise that I would keep you informed of the progress in regards to the liable comments on the internet, I understand now why they who are alleged to be posting them are so worried about their own future, see below. 1. Click Here 2. Oh My God It is my understanding that the customer who carries the vendetta against these people were well known to them and are now suffering from the experience of buying from them. Both Steve & Andy lost their business as a direct result of the reliability and warranty of this company. However, our research department has obtained a copy of the annual accounts and returns of this company and the recommendation was “Not worth taking action” as they have no assets and too many creditors. In total there is a deficit of over £600.000.00 and no way of repaying the debt, as such it looks like a question of possible trading illegally and I prefer to say let them hang themselves. Keep the interest and comments flowing, they truly are an inspiration. Team Manager
