Lighter Body For years, I won't say how many, I have moved from a sprightly 12st at age 20 to a less sprightly 19st at age 60, oops! now you know how many years. I am achieving a return journey though I do not expect it to last the same length of time.

Obesity
Boredom reduction, working and conscious exercise have helped me to achieve a reduction from 19st to 16st 12lb in 2 months. I have achieved this by applying my own coaching techniques to me. I am now applying these to clients with success. I have looked at many 'weight reduction' offers and they all appear to be superb and offer the answer to this huge national issue of obesity.  The missing link to success appears to be 'self' and continuous determination.

I can't believe that 12 years ago I did the 'Coast to Coast' 200 miles in consecutive years in 8 days.

There is a very simple and obvious set of facts surrounding heaviness and unfitness in my view.

1 What I eat I choose;
2 When I eat out I choose from the menu and stuff it in my mouth.
3 Alcohol is sugar and too much drains resolve - it makes you weak - like you might eat a take away after a drink then you've blown it so why bother!!!!?
4 No one can force you to eat or drink anything.
5 Its not in the genes(its in the jeans)
6 The heavier I became the less I wanted to exercise.

I analysed why I ate what I ate and when I ate it.  I had to change my own habits to justify being an Achievement Coach. I eat at 6pm and no later.  I used to eat at 9 and go to bed at 11 - not good. I used to fall asleep at 10am and then wake up for food. Now I ride a bike for an hour alternate days.
I used to fill up the car and buy a choc bar at the pay station then I let my wife fill up the car. Now I can pay at the pump - that has removed the temptation.

I am aiming towards a BMI of 23 (from31)and a milestone for me will be 15stone by mid July - save me a lot on Hol clothes because they are hanging in the wardrobe, have been for 12 years.

Anyone out there have similar experiences?
