Am I getting old or is it something else but when I take someone out I try to dress appropriately. I see guys going out, the women are dressed smartly but they turn out in knee length shorts a football top and trainers, no socks and more often than not a beer belly and not even shaved. It also seems that the football shirt has not seen the inside of a washing machine since the day it was bought, of course the owner could be plain messy dripping the first pint and breakfast down the front before leaving the house.
If you try to have a conversation with them if it’s not about football then it last about 10 seconds before they run out of meaningful sentences and fill the void with 4 letter words. Whatever happened to the educated man did he go the way of the dinosaurs or is there a colony out there somewhere where male manners breeding and conversation exist. Not a chance the British education system makes sure of that, no you don’t need to spell to pass an exam just make it up as you go if the marker understands or think they do you get a distinction if its maybe you pass if you use real English you are considered upper class and failed even though you got 99% correct answers because the OFSTED fiddle factor comes into play.

Why is it now that the law is biased against the man in a divorce. I am getting divorced after 35 years my wife ran off at least 4 times. SHe's had 6 times more cars than I have, she is working I'm unemployed I gave up work to look after my mother. She is fit I am claiming disabled allowance (trying to).  I sold  my mother's house for £285000 she died in Febuary Dad died in Febuary 2006, its still at the solicitors I can't have it. My bank account has been closed, all my standing orders are cancelled, I have an eviction order hanging over me because I can't redeem the motrgage £135000 she won't let me. Everyone wants money but I don't even have enough to eat. My car is running out of petrol I can't walk to the shops.
My solicitor is sypathetic but needs the wifes permission to give me the money, she says no problem it yours but after 6 weeks nothing. I asked for £10000 I got £1000.
I'm also looking after our 2 Youngest children they are over 18 but at college so need support

Grounds for her divorcing me Mental cruelty(well she sure put me through that), alchol (I suffer gout) never been on holiday (we had stays in Bath at the Hilton and the Abby, we had a beach hut at west wittering) and a few others. She insists  that our eldest daughter is not mine, I still paid for her even up to last June when I gave her £2000 to get a house mum didn't.
So after it ends I get a pension that would keep 1 of my dogs (sorry one of two of her dogs she can't show anymore), a huge bill.
Oh and when I move out to look after mum she moved my son into my room, I now sleep in the smallest room in the house 6x8 feet, I never actually moved out but all my stuff was relocated

Why is it around here people insist on driving in the righhand lane of a dual carrageway when they are going to turn right a few miles down the road. They get quite upset when you pass them on the inside at speed limit +50 to 100% when turning left
