I wish to thank 'Monkey catcher', Primer, and Particleman for their intelligent input.
Particleman's comment being the only response that tried to explain the $ 9 billion outlay on CERN.
Also the hijacking posibilities of donations to world Children funds.
I sincerely hope Particleman, your science ensures a famine free world.
And wish you well in your hopes for the future.
I respect your opinions but do not agree completely......But that is Democratic eh?

The 'Black Hole' saga.
The much discussed CERN project suffered a short cicuit we are told, The whole cost will without doubt be increased owing to a soldering problem.
And there's me waiting with bated breath to view a Manmade black hole! Or perhaps dissapear within one!
Call me a sceptic but, A black night, A black sky, and we are apparently looking at a black hole in space.
A recent picture from the Hubble telescope shows us a black hole...............................................Mmmmmmm
Sooooo black is not really black eh? The photograph to me seems like a Riverside New Orleans ring doughnut!.............................................or a.....................................Mmmmmmmmmm
Reckon the stick of CERN solder is going to be the most expensive repair job ever.........Wonder what the Sudan kids think of all this?

Starving Kids in OUR world.
If you see below you will understand why I'm angry! This kid and millions of others are hungry.......We all chuck out food that's past use by date into the bin................Doesn't it make you feel guilty?..........................But spending NINE BILLION DOLLARS on the CERN project is totally immoral.

The morality of CERN
Maybe I'm naive but can somebody tell me what the CERN project will do for me? I know it speeds particles up to the speed of light then smashes them into each other..........Soooo?.............I mean......... My dad said something about running around in circles until you end up disapearing up your own Jacksie years ago........Whats the point of discovering how we started..........When we are very proficient at destroying our world very efficiantly as it is?....................................................NINE BILLION DOLLARS!...........................How many starving children would that feed?......Have you ever seen children STARVING.......................I know I'm a grumpy 'ol man but have I lost my marbles thinking this way....? I weep for abused starving kids anywhere in our world.

Humvee recall.
US troops in Iraq had to revert to the poor old donkey.again..........When the mighty Humvee's were recalled owing to high fuel consumption. also the cocktail bar malfunction. At least it will help with the climate change. Remember........."Got any gum chum?' of WW2.
