Ok, so i'll get right onto my soap box and share my thoughts on some, let me put this nicely, "idiot with self centered un-captivating crap spewing from their mouth"......This darn subject of this MP who has /is having some sort of gay relationship...c'mon people for God sake, let the guy live his life. He will have to answer to a higher power , even higher than "Paul"!!!!!!!! People are so darn quick to judge when they have absolutely no right to do so, makes my blood boil. You know what?...i am sick and tired of sanctamonious crap that comes from the likes of people with nothing better to do than make cowardly remarks, thinking they are above everyone else, because they read the bible and were brought up as a Christian with "Christian values".....These are the people whose children get beaten up and called names , because the parents insist on making them "different"...how the hell does someone on benefits, i might add, afford to pay 1200 pounds a month on a rental property and 2000 a year on darn pizza?....something tells me that someone who can afford to do that and live off of the state is being deceitful in their own right and possibly darn right lying to achieve and benefit from cheating ways...You see i was a single parent once(of 4 kids, divorced) and didn't get more than 140 pounds a week, that was to pay all my bills, put a roof over our heads, food in our stomachs and clothes on our backs, i was lucky to have enough money left to get on a bus let alone live in a mansion and dine on pizza...hell fire people, what is this world coming too, when people can so easily cheat and decieve to get what they want, yet the very same people are the one's to cast the first stone, at someone, who at least, has been honest, however hard that might have been and whatever consequences might follow from that truth...stop bashing people , i am again, thankful i live in a country that is "free"...people love one another, and yes, there is a huge amount of violence and no, not everyone who walks this country is honest, but we do know how to love thy neighbor regardless of what they have afflicted on someone, and do NOT JUDGE others, getting off my soap box now.

Would  anyone reading my dribble , who knows if the Mrs Pat Strickson, now the head teacher at Pebsham CP school, is the same Mrs Pat Strickson, who was a teacher at All Saints School in Sidley and then at King Offa back in the 1990's , be kind enough to let me know...if this Lady is the same person, i would love to get in contact with her, as she taught 3 of my 4 children and i would thoroughly enjoy letteing her know of their accomplishments, anyway thanks

I have just started reading about the Christmas light situation in the town and was astonished at how much the cost was to place and maintain them . Rother District Council have never shown the enthusiasm that most other townships have in the surrounding areas, of making Bexhill more hospitable/friendly/welcoming to visitors and the towns residents at holiday times, where on earth is their Christmas spirit?...Until now , apparently from what i am reading, placing any lights in the town for Christmas was almost inconcievable to the Council, because of money. Sure money makes the world go round, but so does love, and respect for man kind....sheesh, the difference in the town's spirit from when i was a young girl living there to now has drastically dropped, so sad for the young of the town. Rother District council i am sure, is not lacking of funding, just the lack of good moral judgement. I am excited about being able to come home and visit soon, but will i feel welcome?...not iof Bah Humbug R.D.C. has anything to do with it....maybe they should stop allowing their staff to drive around in brand new vehicles, maybe they should invest in bicycles, be better for the enviroment and the excess money could be put to better use..hm, food for thought.

I have not lived in Bexhill for almost 6 years now, since myself and my children moved to Texas 2001.I still have family in Sidley , I miss them more than words can say. Of course when we write and call we don't often discuss much about the town , but my brother did make a reference to the new houses being built on what used to be Bexhill College. I dare say when i finally get a chance to return , things will be different, yet the same. People I am sure are still as friendly as ever( well most anyway), the stores will still be where I remember them to be and the smell of fiSh and chips will still fill the air( Gosh how i miss those fish and chip dinners). Anyway for anyone reading this, my name is Allison, i am quite opinionated, i do speak my mind ( and as my wonderful husband tells me " Ally you have that right to say what you want and how you feel")...i normally do!!!!!!!...so until next time, carry on with the great blogs i have read, really quite interesting to read, have a great day.
